What did you do to or with your CJ today?

“Also added this Cooper-Bussmann relay box and 60 amp breaker...”

mdeluca, I just read that. I would warn you against branching off this breaker to power your ignition circuit.
I haven't even looked at the electrical instructions/requirements for the Street Fire ignition. I was planning on just using the existing wiring for the stock ignition. What is your caution?

Well, let me ask you. With your engine idling and if you were to go in there and manually break the circuit open that said breaker protects, will your engine shut off?

No. It is for accessories, i.e., horn, headlights, amplifier, mostly high amp draw stuff that taxes the OEM wiring.

Lol

Looks like before and after, FI and all!!!

Rattle can rebuild?

You can’t go wrong with GM’s TBI, smart and budget choice.

I think they’re really good fit for low revving Jeeps, mines running great

If you believe in cold air intakes, they do sell the hat for it, or you can use a full size non restrictive filter assembly.

I do. But where is the intake located ?

You mean, where to draw the cold air from? For a CJ, you have to get very creative. I have not figured it out yet. And I don’t want no hood scoops or fender openings.

Yes. I have been looking for a place myself for a few years. Didn’t want a on the top of the cowl area like a diesel intake. I did buy a snorkel some time back. Not for high water. Don’t plan on any high river crossings. Not sure it will be used, but haven’t found anything better. Haven’t found a scoop or location I like either.

I had one I did for a customer some years ago. But I ran the duct work to the back of the firewall and tied into the factory vent behind the hood. From the outside it looks stock. And other than a tube running into the firewall the engine bay looks stock
