So a few things. First off I was sent 3 rear springs and only one front (already called to have this corrected) second cause they shipped what they had in stock and drop shipped the rest I ended up with a complete second set of shocks (yay me)

I added the optional new u bolt kit as well as extended brake lines and black polyurethane bushings. All in all it's a decent kit it's heavy gauge steel black textured powdered coated instead of boomerang shackles they have a relocation mount.16d4985721a951317d8edfe0e1339358.jpgae58f6e2167f5875af6d848c2c040383.jpg0bc6a7de931166f601609a8f71d93963.jpg86cc38203cfdd5af896c305475dad8eb.jpgc0d73940a9cf58ef35758d47c3d0f4d9.jpg748b115e808cca148fde46c82dd8ebfc.jpg3c420a760cf6339bc4a5cb12b74795d8.jpg

Sadly, I put the doors on, putting on a lot of miles and enjoying the jeep. :drive:

Lol, on my 72 I drove in FL for over 30 years with nothing but a bikini top. Going to the beach in December with gloves and a toboggan hat on was the norm!

So where are the Jeeps now ? Mine is still in the garage with the exterior plywood up over the roll up door. We have the storm come near 3 weeks ago and the last 2 going east of here. Just started to breath again and time to remove the protection off and get ready for the great Jeep weather with bikini on, time of year.

Since I became wheelchair bound all of my vehicles are @ a friends farm in a barn. I'm hoping that some day I will be able to enjoy them and be able to work on them again.
My experience with CJs started in 1976 and I wish to continue.

Going to be another barn find in 20 years ! I was wondering how that happened. Back around the end of the 60s I was at a neighbors barn and her grandsons were my friends as youngsters of juvenile. We happened to go into part of the barn I had never been in. Back in the very back was an old Studebaker pickup. One of the guys happened to open up the ashtray and the butts looked petrified. My older brother ended up later buying a mid 50s GMC pickup that was in there also.

Just removed my outer garage door protector. Time to get back out there driving the Jeep. The good weather times are here. 876E256D-F1FE-476D-9F35-7EC6AB70E2C5.jpeg5BB93972-39F0-481B-B711-6DBF592F1599.jpeg9253D437-07A1-4B5A-9D7E-7BE5A541A0F6.jpeg

Exactly ! 3 storms have started south of me. One went west of me. 2 went east. Nature can be scary.

That's why I live in Maryland. I have hurricane parties when they call for em cause by the time it's hits me in the mountains it's just a big rain storm. Last one to do anything more than rain was Sandy.

You can keep the hurricanes lol I rode out one in North Carolina and a Typhoon on Okinawa. Of course we get blizzards, some last 3 days and take some doing to move after. ❄️

A friend lives in Wyoming. He said don’t come until summer. I said don’t worry. Sounds like a great place to see between June - October maybe.

At least the snow is fun to play in with the Jeep

I’ll give you that. Until it isn’t. Just takes 1 wrong move and over the side you go. Just depends on where you are playing at if it’s minor or over a embankment and you roll it. Yeah it would be fun for a couple of hours. But rain and snow for a whole winter or decades of winters, go for it !
