Glad you enjoyed the ride. :chug:

I like the surfboard and rider on the Scrambler.

Cool Jeep car show.
It’s interesting to see what the different parts of the country do for shows.
Sand cruise looks cool.
Looks like OC goes all out!

Glad you’re representing the CJs. Getting rare now.

Ya they are getting rare. Most times when I go to a show. Any show or off road Park it's a sea of new Jeeps and mall crawler's

Well you’re just hanging out with a bunch of wana-bees. :poke:

That was near Hot Springs last year. This year they met up in Kentucky.

Took a little stroll around Bynum, NC today. Just appreciating these historic relics, before it's all torn down to make way for another god awful development.

I was doing the same last year in the Waynesville area last year for about 10 days cruzing all over those mountain areas. Some beautiful old relics. Hopefully they don’t shove a Casino in there somewhere.

had more parts arrive to start my rebuild. unfortunately, i have to send the leaf springs back. i mistakenly ordered two front sets! i have everything now to start with the brake conversion, replace the brake lines and master cylinder and get the old beast back on a good foundation. new tires, rims, leaf springs and shocks. I have a GI 10 man artic tent set up to do the work under. and winter be damned, I have a small wood stove for the tent!!! everyone have a great day and restful and peaceful weekend. Semper Fi.

We headed for the hills with the CJ for the long weekend for some mountain therapy.

Schofield Pass proved bad for a guy from Illinois in his 4Runner. Lucky he didn’t roll all the rest of the way down. He got uprighted and we were able to continue to Marble and the Crystal Mill.

Lots of nice waterfalls.

Very lucky this mishap didn’t take him the AMC 150 ’ down the cliff to the creek. This is above Devil’s Punchbowl.

Bridge below the Punchbowl. Swimmers were nuts going in that freezing water.

Only one other CJ so far.

Beautiful scenery

I was just watching a video of a guy going over the side of the trail into punch bowl. Motorcycle. He did pretty good video. Lucky he lived. To me they were going just way to fast and bounced off a rock and next thing he knew it was over the cliff. Supposed to be the deadliest trail with like 17 lives.

Sounds like a badge of honor type thing to say you completed the trail and survived
