What did you do to or with your CJ today?
Ditched the front sway bar and got the three most troublesome bolts out of the steering box. Hopefully theres good weather over the long weekend.

My flowmaster 40 showed up on Saturday, I finished installing the exhaust today. Went to take a couple of pictures, but the camera was dead. Got started stripping my hard doors down :bang:

Well lessee...
I started out tearing apart my burned out Tabor winch (that will eventually go back on the CJ), then went to the EXPO center and helped the fire dept. install the barriers for the mud bog race on the 25th, then came home and finished tearing the winch apart. Found the brake spring broken, so I put it all back together minus the brake springs. So now I have a 9000 LB winch with no brake!

Anyone have a good cheap parts place for Warn winches?

Being the threat of winter is over, I removed the "Texas" snow blade from the Jeep.

 What about the snow plow mounting plate? Did ya put the winch back? :)

Started to clean up the carrier and pressed a few bearings off, getting ready for the new ring and pinion.

That needs to be inserted into a redneck engineering handbook! That is funny!

Most of my night was spent rebuilding the motorcraft 2100.

LOL - Good use of that clean white towel! I do hope it was stolen from a nice hotel!

I don't remember what hotel, but yes, that is a stolen hotel towel.

Multiple Cjs = Always work to do. :)
Built sway bar qick disconnects, heavy duty shackles, 5 point harness frame mounts for the 77 CJ5 , No I have to do some work on the CJ7

Pretty sure I got the new ring and pinion set last night. It was pretty late so I should be able to button it up tomorrow.

Put a new SunPro column mount tach in & it don't work.

Well I haven't done it yet, but plan on cleaning it up today to see if everything is still in one piece after the trail ride I just got back from.
Had a great time by the way :D

Lets just say I caught the CJ BUG. I went out to look at some parts last night after work. Need to get all I can due to my location.
I was given two front ends one out of 85 CJ7 and the other one out of a CJ5 . I got a mess of mirror parts and pieces.
The stuff that I have to buy:
The soft top and doors for my CJ7 , and a matching set of narrow track axles one being a Danna 44. Grill and grill with radiator.
He also had a T-5 Transmission , Danna 300 and a Mitsy 2.3liter turbo diesel.
What would be a good price for all this stuff?
The KID might get a diesel in his CJ5 if I can figure out how to make all the pieces work. I also now need to find a good tub for a CJ5 :bang: . The cool thing is the Wife said I need the stuff than get it.:notworthy:. Now what will I have to buy Her???

took a 4 1/2 hour drive to the shore and back. Wife and I had lunch and an adult beverage at a nice place by the water. 70* today and bright sunshine.
