I broke the rear driver side chromo axle while having a great time on the trail. Time to start looking at larger axles.
Ouch! That sucks! What diff?

I got my Dana 44 mounted, new axle bearing and seals installed and mounted one of the rear disc setups installed...

Too pretty needs some dirt on it

got my front axel back up under the frame just need to put the u bolts on!

I reassembled the motorcraft 2100, tightened everything down again and got her refired. It still doesn't run right, but I have the sneaking suspision that the ICM has crapped out again. I think it's time to do the "team rush"!

Just finished my HEI/TFI mod today, had been running just the ford capadapter, cap, rotor, wires, and e-coil. Ran like a champ with just that.
The HEI/TFI mod is in the DOC section at the top.

Not the jeep but changed the wifes oil in her truck, did the brakes,
And took the studded tires of and put her 33's back on

leafs ar back under the frame, with the old hard ware and springs:bang:
need to make a bracket for the passenger side u bolts and of coarse get all new hard ware, but for the time being it has been obamarigged!
Pics of my purty frame soon to come!
:chug:to my self since no one was in the shop with me to drink a beer

Feels so good to be working on my own stuff for a change!!!!!!!!!!

haha:laugh:[/quote]

:poke:laugh you will see me turnin wrenches when i get back there

Got a new ICM, got it installed, killed the battery :bang: And it's been raining all stinking day, so it's going to have to wait until tomorrow now to get jumped, I'm not screwing with it in the rain.

I had to put the jump it, again, but I got her started tonight . Got it warmed up, took it out for a spin and she never once stalled on me! The new motorcraft needs some fine tuning, and I've still got a decent exhaust leak, but I'm on the road again :grinjeep:

nice let us know hoe you lie k th e kit

Painted the steering box, Transmission skid plate, and started painting my hard top

zChassie is officially out of the garage:notworthy:
untill the :censored:ing tub is done:bang:

Putzed around with brake lines, still not 100% on how I want to do them. Cleaned a bit here and there...

I drove mine today... About 65 miles to be exact; "just for a beer run" was what I passed to the wife as I was leaving... Yes I got the beer; now I need to pull the top for the summer!! :chug:

Didn't really work on the Cjs, but I cleaned off my concrete slab to get ready for the new man cave being assembled tomorrow...

:grumble: :grumble: I just hope these guys show up today...They canceled last Tuesday for a Thursday appt due to weather...It was partly sunny and nice all day...Today we have lightning storms overhead and patches of hard rain, so who knows if they will show...I've taken 2 days off work already for this thing, and all my equipment is getting ruined by sitting under a leaky tarp!

BTW...it wont be very impressive..My budget only allowed for a tin carport, and I get to wall in all 4 sides myself...But it will be a big improvement over what I had!

EDIT...I give them credit, they did show on time...Too bad its raining so hard that its nearly impossible to try and do the install  We are on hold again...l
