Speaking of alternators that work... I replaced the belt on mine today. Found a nice Napa by Gates 7340 XL with exemplary notch work... Screech seems to be gone. I'll try again when its cold to make sure.

Took the jeep up to our cabin in Northern Wisconsin. The fall color is just getting going. Lots to do here, got a wedding to get ready for next year.

Used mine to go pick up a small backhoe that I rented to dig out the hole for the new parking space the Jeep is getting in my front yard. I wasn't sure it would pull it but the beast held together and managed to get it all the way to the house without really breaking a sweat. Not bad for a vehicle that is almost 40 and still has the original engine in it.
