What options do I have? i.e. door strike plates

I understand that the door strike plates for the early rotary style full steel doors are hard if not impossible to find from a vendor. Is my next option to try and make them? Anyone have some used ones for sale?

I obviously want to keep the original doors that came with my jeep but for some reason the PO took off the original strike plates.

I'll dig around in my garage, I think I had a set of the plates, but none of the other hardware, no guarantees thought, I've moved twice since the last time I saw them...

You could also try Collins Brothers Jeep, Rock Riders or Austin Jeeps. They all deal in used Jeep, mainly CJ parts. Collins Brothers is going to charge you an arm and a leg, it's just what they do, they're parts are more expensive than anywhere else. Keep an eye out on ebay, every once in a while a set turns up there, if not, you're going to have to start scouring your local junk yards for CJ's.

Thanks for checking Elwood. Yea, I have gone to every junkyard within 100 miles of Charlotte, no lie. I keep an eye on craigslist as well. I will keep searching. I did contact Collins a month or so ago.... OMG. As of now I am keeping them as a last option.
