That and cutting shop & We-Cim.
Cut this today for my rubi-rack to mount the license plate. I guess it would be called an adapter or bracket LOL

That looks great!!!! What did you cut it with?
Well, without having those cool tools and machines (although I do sell them for a living as an auctioneer) I will be MAKING a hockey puck work as a bushing for my grill.
hockey puck huh.....thats awesome. never thought of that.

No reason I couldn't use a third bolt on my stock shackles, is there? What do you suggest for a tube to slide over that middle bolt?

The stock shackles are made differently from what I could tell. I don't know that a middle bolt would be necessary. The replacements I got were made like what the OP made and a middle bolt would be absolutely necessary. I fyou want to add one, just take a careful measurement of the distance between the plates installed and then find a piece of pipe cut to that very carefully measured length that will fit over the bolt you have chosen.![]()
... and the shackles that have a bolt in the middle are a little longer than that.stock shackles should be 3 inches center to center.
Cool!!! Thank y'all mine are 4" center to center. 3/8x2x6
