Ele. fuel pumps are not 'pullers'. They are 'pushers'. That pump should be mounted no higher than the top of the tank and as close to it as possible.

I understand... But I spoke with Holley before ordering this newly released pump and where I have it and what I'm doing with it are perfectly fine. Pushing fuel is the biggest reason to use an electric pump and exactly why I went this route. Getting fuel out of the tank and to the carb is not at all my problem in this case.

Where is your fuel pressure regulator located?
Best to have it as close to the carb as you can get it.
FWIW: On every ele. FP I have ever installed. I had a fuel filter before the pump. Doesn't take much crud to jam'em up.
What does the bottom of your carb's bowel look like?

My regulator is on the drivers side fender under hood. And as stated earlier. There's 2 filters. One is before the pump. One after the regulator.

I would move that reg. much closer to the carb.

It was some plastic threads from the fittings I had changed before installing filter.

I removed air horn then hit key and it shot fuel up from bowl 4-6".

Then I removed fuel line and some fuel ran out then pressed down on float to backwash the valve and it came out.

Buttoned it back up and all is well.
