i don't think there are too many like this in Oz? U.S.A?

Thanks, never saw one of those, but have seen a CJ7 World Cab. Who makes the Tub/Hardtop? Need to know more, looks kind of Land Roverish.

Download Fotosizer it is free, can do a whole file full of pictures at once, I was introduced to it on this site, way better then Paint (in Windows OS)one at a time, that I was using.

Nice that answers that, made in Australia. Can`t make out the GVW, seating for 2 with a huge cargo area, probably 10 leaf rears w/sway bar.

Contact International Military Vehicle Collectors Club, and get Australian Club info. They will know more then anyone on this site, about that Jeep.

PS. posted about your Automatic problem.

I don't know if I would say for sure its made in Australia. The plaque says "manufactured by Kaiser to conform to Australian design rules" Could that mean that it was produced as an export only and made to meet the Australian codes at the time to be sold there?
The CJ6 at the time would have a wheel base of 101" and at least a foldable windshield. I guess I'm asking could it be possible that once in came into the country, the Australian Board affixed their plates and stamping to it to make it legal?
As said, someone there should know and can shed some light on it.

Since 1958 Willy`s assembled Jeeps in Australia with US components, ie the complete Jeep was shipped in parts and assembled in Brisbane.
Later they were completely made in Brisbane up to 1972, so yes this Jeep is 100% made in Australia, I would say around 1965 or so on when Kaiser changed the name.
Willy`s did the same thing in Brazil, but that franchise got bought by Ford do Brazil in 1967. (Willy`s Overland do Brazil)
To find out more info access Brisbane Public Library or the Military clubs.

Love to see more pictures.
