My lift hatch is need of some repair & I have been searching CL for a replacement with no luck. I did find one for a 88 YJ that is Plexiglas. Will this fit the CJ hard top?

Nope the Yj glass will not work with the Cj Hardtop. If you get it with the Yj hardtop it needs slight modifications to fit good around the tailgate IIRC.

Thanks, that's what I thought looking at the pictures.
Sooooo I guess I'll keep looking. In Washington you need everything to seal up.

Yes, and I also believe the wrangler hatches are glass or plexiglass with no frame, where the Jeeps hatch has a frame around the glass. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Thats correct. Its hard to find a good used Cj frame. The only replacements Ive seen are fiberglass and over $400. I can find a hardtop with a good frame around here for that price sometimes less

Well I guess I will live with the leak until I find a replacement. I have seen a few hardtops go for as little as $AMC 150 but at that price you better be the first one to see it.:chug:
Thanks again guy's.
