When your sorry to hear that Sam5038 has a dome and check engine light in his jeep. Ooohh the miseries of modern day living.

when the people in the parts store shut off the computer and break out a book because its so old.

When you open up the hood and you can see the ground.

tune up involves feeler gauges, a screw driver, dwell tach, timing light and a ratchet, socket,& extension.

When you are told your CJ won't pass inspection because the horn doesn't work. Then you show them the KC switch under the dash that honks the horn, thanks to the PO's "customization".

When you find yourself standing at the parts counter trying to remember which parts are for your '75 and which parts are for the 82 Wagoneer engine you just installed .... ahhh lets see I need a clutch for a '75 Jeep CJ5 and '75 motor mounts and a fan clutch for a '82 Wagoneer, a fuel pump for a '75 AMC 304 V8 (they are different), motorcraft wires for an F-AMC 150 to fit on the D.U.I. Dist. and a GM ignition module ......... All the while the parts guy is looking at you like you lost your mind.

You cuss the forest service when they "Improve" the Road to your favorite camp site. Only erosion can improve a road
