there is light at the end of the tunnel!! If you work hard, lead a good lift and faithfully follow the path to enlightenment, there will come a day when break downs and component failures will no longer be a problem.

I don't know what I would do, if my CJ5 was finally done. There's nothing more therapeutic, then spending a Saturday fixing or upgrading something on my Jeep.
I may not be able to fix everything in my life/career, but at least I can fix my alternator.

I realized this last night I think. I spent nearly an hour putting my carb back together and adjusting it last night, listening to the Dr. Drew podcast. Enjoyed every minute of it.

I agree! People give you a lot more attention, when you own a vehicle that took possibly years of blood, sweat, and tears to get on the road.
When I see a tricked out JK, I see someone who most likely threw a bunch of money at his mechanic, and said "build it for me!" He probably never even changed his own oil.
Just my opinion!
