304 to 343 v8 or 360 v8

Has anyone run a 343 v8 in their jeep? I was thinking of building my AMC 304 as a 343 when i rebuild it. Or would you just find a good 360 and be done with it.I already have the intake,headers,roller rocker arms etc,so i could bolt all of it onto a 360 and have decent power.

If it was me I would find an AMC 360 and be done with it. My bet is it will cost you a lot less that way for more power.

In the end it will be up to you, but I went the junkyard and yanked a running 360 out of a 79 Cherokee and was in business the next day I did that because I couldnt find a AMC 304 . The 360 does have tons of power in stock form to
