1979 CJ-7 Golden Eagle AMC 360, TH400, Quadratrac, AMC 20 and Dana 30 narrowtracs.
Just looking for opinions on 2 piece cork or 1 piece rubber. Which is better and why?
 
one piece rubber by a million miles, no joints to leak, no seal ends to squish out. I was not aware the 360 has the option for a one piece rubber tho. Who makes the one piece? :chug:
 
Maybe they don't. Just getting opinions before the rear main seal job next week.

No such thing as a rubber 1 piece for the AMC 360 V8, only for the Chrysler. The best you can get is Victor # OS30538TC. Cork metal cork sides with rubber ends.
