4.2l 1978 cj-7 rockers

Does any one know what the torque for the rockers (stock rebuild), and is there
an order to tighten them ?

These are engine rockers.

16-25 foot pounds according to the 77 service manual.

BTW, Morris 4x4 has a 77 shop manual on line and Autozone has pretty good repair guides for your CJ.

Take them up evenly too, alternating every couple turns.
