I am new to the Jeep world and love it!
I want to get the heater working in this ! All there is is the heater coil box ,
Was there a blower in 57's or forced air, I would love to help w pictures of completed work and replacement heater names! I WANT TO DRIVE THIS ALL YEAR round. I LOVE IT, I don't need to stay true to 57 just need heat,

Yes, the 57 had a blower motor.

The 55-56 didn't come with heaters from the factory and no cutout for one. There were knockouts on the passenger side for heater pipes for an aftermarket unit from Harrison or other manufacturer. There is a fan in these units that can be restored but I don't think you would be happy with the results as the new ones back in the day didn't do well dispensing heat.

The 56-65 came with a driver side heater box (also Harrison) with a blower fan. If you want heat go with aftermarket, Summit offers a good option for aftermarket heat.

Hope this helps.

:)There are several links to aftermarket heaters and although most will produce heat they just will not send to to where you want...........

I just picked up a 1955 CJ5 and it has a heater coil in the engine compartment and a small metal box under the dash located on the passanger side. No fan motor inside or outside, It has two locking clips that looking like a spot where the blower would go?
