So the CJ clutch/brake pedals are the way to go with the hydro boost to make it work best ?

Absolutely, the YJ pedal set I have had the pin to low on the pedal putting the rod in a bind, if you have that pedal set you can fix it by drilling a hole in the correct location which is in line with the center of the hole in the firewall

That new water pump looks awesome. The improved impeller design should be quieter, reduce any vibration and most importantly maintain very good flow rates.

so far so good, i took it around my test track yesterday and it got up 180 degrees and stayed there, hard to tell what made the difference tho
 
Looks good and I think the black goes well.
