Hmmm hole pattern in the rear fender flares do not match between CJ and YJ... surprise but I’m also not able to drill the CJ flares to the YJ hole pattern so I’m going to have to fill holes in the body and drill more holes

Why can’t you drill the flares to match the body? Layer the back of the mounting flange of the flare with masking tape, hold on place, and mark thru the holes with a sharpie......

The YJ flare is taller than the CJ flare, they also put a hole in the two upper corners of the YJ flare and the CJ flare is a round in that spot

Yep I’m getting closer to calling up hoghead and wheeling with him, I still need my inner axle shafts and a full size spare which I’m hoping to have by Christmas, until then plenty of small things to fix and get working while I drive it which is a great feeling to finally have a driver

I'm sorry, but for my own selfish reasons, I'm very glad you still have lots to do! Often when folks wrap up their projects, they frequent the site less often as they're spending all their new found time riding in their rig. And we get less of the awesome user opinions, ideas,and help. Seriously, congrats! I anxiously await your updates and regular go back in yours, Shum's, and Mdeluca's builds for reference.

I’m with Gert on this - I still have enough to do on mine I can keep my wife irritated for a couple years....... it won’t be major stuff, but now it’s time to make it “comfy”.

Lol well I have the original Goodyear wrangler as a spare but it won’t do much better than that wire wheel lol.... I have lockers front and rear
