A few pics from Gert..... He can post up a couple captions........ he didn’t trust me to do that LOL
Sent from my desk at work, watching a phenomenal topless day go right by the window....
Whoops i didnt think about captions to busy waking up and drinking coffee,
I bought the K30 hydroboost to power steering box hose, due to my wheel base stretch I had to straighten out the bends in the metal ends for it to be long enough to reach
the adapter plate i made from a picture Coldair sent me from a guy on ebay that makes them, the bolt pattern on the fire wall is 2 7/8 x 4.25. i made it 2 inches long, you need a 3rd plate to bolt the hydro boost to, it has a huge nut that gets torqued to 100ftlbs then that 3rd plate needs to bolt to your firewall adapter plate, I used the stock ps hose from the jeep to go to the hydroboost, its kinda coiled up but is working good
Also the hydroboost needs a return spring inbetween the Master cylinder and its piston, my rebuilt unit from Orielys did not come with one so I am in the process of finding the right stiffness spring sofar it appears to be pretty stiff
man this hydroboost is awesome, i went from crappy brakes that i was having to push really hard on to locking up my 35s with ease
Thx Shum8 for posting pics
Thx a million for Coldair sending me all the info and help on this project
