Well I should have my coupler I need on the way tomorrow finally so I can install my power steering pump and gear box...... this has taken waaaaaayyyyy to long to do lol

X2 on that ! Bought mine new. Now I started an engine upgrade almost 4 years ago. That has turned into a Transmission /transfer upgrade and now even though my front end is in pretty good shape I figured since the fenders grill and hood are off why not do some steering upgrades since most everything is easy to get at with the motor Transmission and Transfer Case are out.

So have I...... tired of filling up the power steering reservoir every few days.......

At least the bottom of the Jeep is shinny and not rusting

I'm hoping I can make these last. I guess if the 20 goes south I would have to do something. I would like to do that tube stitching and truss before that but that is down the road probably. I already have done the 1 piece axels and locker thing
 
I’ve never tried welding with beer...... hmmmm.

Does the quality of weld increase or decrease if welding with liquor rather than beer?

I think welding on liquor you might wanna come back after you sober up to make sure you welded the right part lol

Well I made a 100 mile road trip for the wrong part today, worse than that Summit is not doing exchanges just refunds that take 24 hours..... so maybe tomorrow I can go back and get the right part and make another 100 mile trip to get the right part which is in stock...... so my weekend plans have definitely been changed

What's the part and who you getting it from that you need to drive for ? Only done that 2 times. Wheels & 1/2 YJ doors. Ordered the twin sticks Thursday and HD tie Rod & drag link for flip from bottom to top side. New steering shaft came in last week. All of it made in the great USA !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need the borgenson steering joint with the 3/4 30 spline x 3/4 DD

I accidentally bought the 3/4x 1 DD

Summit Racing has them in stock in Arlington..... the bad thing about the Dallas metroplex is that it’s massive so from my house in Rockwall to Arlington is 48 miles

For what ever reason I have a 13/16 x 36 spline steering box and that’s been the hold up
