First time dealing with a CV you definitely need patience

All the caps off joint in gently put it together not messing up the center swivel joint

Whatcha doing with the steering box mods? I must’ve missed something, because I’m late to the party.

I like looking at your pictures, because it reminds me of my Dad & how he did his stuff. I can tell your mind is working on 101 things at once, like my Dad’s.

I think it came out of left field.

Lol ive had my Jeep 20 years now, I initially spent way too much time researching everything i wanted to do to it, and hydro assist steering was on that list, ive had the ram and hoses for 5-6 years now. I started to do this mod on an FSJ box i had but I couldn’t get parts to repair the leaks so i bought the box i have now from Oriellys and this is a great time to do the mod since i now have access to a hose crimper

I still want to re do my skid plate
Install AC
Full float my rear axle and see if the locker will accept a bore job for larger axle shaft like 33 or 35 spline
Add a few undercarriage led lights
Linex the whole underside and inside of the tub
Fab up a front roll bar to the dash
Starting to think i want Detroit lockers vs the Trutracs i have now
I have just recently added wanting to install JK Dana 44 ring and pinion as well as RCV axle shafts to my Dana 44 front axle

Yup. That’s awesome, lengthy list. One bite at a time, right?
You planning on Moab again this spring?

Dexron shower!
Not so bad. Coulda been worse.

Doing any bracing or additional brackets?

Lol the power steering filters looked bigger online, they leave a little to be desired especially if you open them up and look at the filter

Bracing/reinforcing for the steering box and frame. Thinking you’ve got that covered though.
Curious to hear how it turns out.

I moved my front axle forward 3 inches when i built my front bumper, i moved my steering box as well
I did buy the more bracket, and i now have it bolted through the frame
I think i am going to add a sector shaft brace as well
