Do you know if you have the 2's or 3's?

It definitely seems to fit the CJ hub.

I wonder why MT would say they don't fit!

Mine are the 3s I liked the bigger diameter holes they have, I wonder if they changed them when they dumped the 2s...... stand by I just realized I can find out the diameter of the Jeep hub I will let you know in a few minutes

I realized a minute ago that putting the hub in the vise would allow me to get a pretty close measurement and the Jeep hub is indeed 108mm or 4.265 inches

The notes on the listing seems to say that center caps are not option because they won't fit.

It does look like they fit the CJ hub. I'll see if I can find one locally to verify before I commit to $1800 worth of wheels and tires!

Didn't much done on the Jeep this weekend, wife is at work and I have the kiddos so I grabbed the boat from the lake cleaned it a little trouble shot the dead Boss radio that lasted 1/2 a season changed the oil, but I did get the front brake hoses attached to the calipers, had to drill them out thx to Jeep using tiny GM calipers and bolts, the Chryslers are a healthy 7/16x20 so on to the rears

ugh been working to much this week, hoping to get the clutch bracket built, skid plat built and motor mounts built soon, wife works friday I might be able to get some patterns cut out of cardboard friday morning

A 4.5 grinding disc makes short work of enlarging the wheel hole to fit larger hubs. I had to enlarge my H2 rims to fit my D60 FF hubs.

Got my steering hooked up first time in 15 years using a YJ arm, it unfortunately has the master splines in the wrong location so I had to hand file those down ugh, also it's shorter than a stock CJ arm so I'm not going lock to lock on the axle, I plan to buy the parts mike pitman arm later to solve this problem, I'm just looking to get on the road as soon as I can for now, also found out they the hose fitting in Saginaw pumps are interchangeable between the compression fitting and o ring style so no need to buy new hoses and pumps, working on the clutch slave cylinder mount now. Also got my carb re mounted, so temped to fire the motor up to hear her put again.....217e7f5844cfe465854fc82da04083db.webp77bb69735564f23814bf8ee6c02bb8d5.webp4b761ad28236d77ad2c69362f27ff864.webp1b438a20b84dd2108e7f9a0c3721226c.webp

Gonna be sweet, I will have my power steering belt ordered tomorrow and my return hose hooked up so that my power steering will be completely done if it holds fluids that is lol

That's my fear as well - well, actually not leaking to the outside world, but internally. I'm not 100% confident that PITA valley gasket under the intake is sufficiently sealed...... I'm expecting coolant in my oil. Or oil in my coolant. Everything else should be good to go.

lol i have had that happen before, not fun to redo work.

i am about to take the kids in the garage and start bolting the body to the body mounts so i can make new motor mounts that set the motor far enough back to clear my electric fan... and momma is holding on to my spending money til all the bills are paid grr some days i hate having to be responsible adult.

Now I know why everybody gets confused on the body mounts lol, also the first set I bought were "trail boss" and they suck, they chipped up rubber floor mounts and call them body mounts so I bought real body mounts after that and that's what I'm about to play with

LOL no you don't want one of those. Then they got you right where they want you, by the short hairs. Do hope you get to drive it soon:chug:

I wish I could drive it today, wife probably wouldn't see me for several days lol, I think that at the current funds rate I will have it driving as a 2 wheel drive with 4 different tires and wheels by next February. I need to buy rear drive shaft, rear axle shafts, and rear wheel bearings to get it to drive on its own power. there are still some small stuff like welding brake caliper brackets on, and building a skid plate, fuel pump and fuel lines to finish but I should have that all sorted out while Im waiting on funds to be available. After its driving I will start saving for the front axle shafts, Ring and pinion, front drive shaft, 4 more Goodyears with rims, and shocks.

Yeah you have some more to do. Just keep after it like you have been and you will get there. Looking forward to seeing you get it done!

Did you get the crown body mount kit? Even that one needs a bit of trimming on the steel sleeve.

Mine came in the other day but I've yet to trim them all

I think they might be Crown, unfortunately that is one of the parts I bought while I was in Afghanistan 3 years ago =0 I will also need to shave at least one of the sleeves. I am going to look at mine a little closer before I do any trimming because not all of them are to long.
