Hey shum8 at least you can lift and lower your Transmission and t case through the shifter hole unlike most vehicles

Well I have a cylinder not firing at idle it was #6 not it seems to have shifted to #2, I bought and installed a set of MSD cut to fit wires and really enjoyed using the tool they provide to crimp the terminals on, but I still have a miss, hopefully I will be able to get some trouble shooting in tomorrow

Heck yeah you really don't need 8 cylinders when you are idling any way do you ? . Just think of the fuel you are saving. Mine idles real well with only 4. Once I install my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and EFI I don't know what I will do with all that raw power. I might even be able to shift into 4th gear going up hill on the interstate. Hopefully you can figure that problem out with not much problem. !

Well going down the trouble shooting rabbit hole...... new wires, new plugs, now I’m going to replace all the locks and retainers on the motor to hopefully get her running right

The dude at my local German parts store where I get model non-specific parts is constantly amazed when I come in and ask him for things he has never heard of, and I speak German. He hates getting stump chumped by me but at the same time he told me he is learning more about cars by the things I ask for that he is then surprised he has available in his ordering system.
