It’s a little on the pricey side, but I found an 800CCA battery at NAPA that fits. 550 is probly what the factory put in it. I’ve always tried to stuff the hottest battery in I could.

Ya I took that turd back and will be shopping around since I will committing to my battery for around 5 years might as well get the biggest one I can, talk about pricy have you priced optimas lately whew

This is the one I was lookin at. Dual posts would allow additional ground connection without special cabling. It’s about the largest battery dimensionally that will fit

Wow. That is nice. When my crappy advance battery goes again, it looks like I will be considering this one.

I like that battery I will have to see if my local Napa has one

That the battery I told the manager I wanted to use for the extra set of cable attachment points and she said that may overload the battery and cause a fire....... but yes - I believe that’ll do nicely. and a decent warranty

I think I’m going to research that mess, I have also heard not to use both sets of terminals

From what I was able to find ( probly no more than 15 minutes of lookin...) it appears Optima recommended to NOT use the side posts for extended heavy draws..... supposedly connected the side terminals to the plates with leas straps and they would melt. Other than that, I saw no difference. I don't have a winch and would only be carrying stereo, aux. lights, etc - nothing heavy. See what you can find.........

Man I’m not finding anything about not using the top and side posts at the same time. Starting to wonder if it’s an old wives tale

The only thing I have every heard is for a heavy draw you want it hooked to the top posts.

I would think if there was a problem there would be a warning pretty boldly displayed.

Sweet I have a tracking number from Tom Woods and I got my new dual electric fan in the mail and was able to slide it in place behind the radiator

Sweet I got more parts in..... tobad it’s raining and cold yuck, just had to do some running around trying to get the correct fuel injector tube for the truck since one of them sprung a leak on the way to work last night, it’s a freaking $90 part for a 6 inch long steel tube =0

Nice mounts!! I feel inadequate now..... LOL

Lol they are sweet but way to expensive, I looked at the new omix ada mounts at $200 and then these at $300 and said what the heck no motor mount problems ever again
