Getting close.... I’m going to rent the exhaust expander from oriellys when I pick up my new MC in a few minutes then I have to build and weld up a transition section to mate the cross over pipe to the passenger side..... might even get this done this week wow

I even snuck the cat converter in there

Engage your flame throwers now lol..... out with the old and adapt it to the new


So I have a YJ tub that came with a nice muffler and exhaust pipe shield and I like the rubber isolators they use.... a bit of creative bending on some 1/4 rod I found in the metal dumpster and we are ready for a weld bead on the pipe to hold it in place

I accidentally hit the Y pipe on the passenger side a little hard and it shoved the muffler pipe to far into the back of the cat converter so I have to figure out how I want to fix that, still working on the cross over from the drivers side tho

Also waiting on the OEM CJ7 style tail pipe bushing to come in from my local parts store

Hacked the old fuel line out with the old pump the shiny new MC is bench bled and installed as well waiting on having time to re bleed the brakes

Well still procrastinating so I thought I would be fun to make a new tail pipe hanger to fit the passenger side.... still need to finish slotting the rubber isolator mounting holes and match drill it to the frame
