Decided to take a break from the shimming today to focus on cleaning my garage up some and I found a brand new u joint that I have had collecting dust for years, not a spot of rust anywhere on it, I was never sure what it fit, but I know what it fits now.....

Hmmm one of the big problems with mail order....... these things are huge. They measured inside to inside I measured center to center.... that makes a big difference on a 5/8 u bolt

Well, I used some anti seize to do my tooth contact patch on the front axle and I still don’t like the way it looks and my 2 year was napping so I couldn’t take it apart to reshim the pinion
So on to the bell housing, got a jack stand under the oil pan got the bellhousing off to use as a pattern to make a new engine dust shield got it close to size and had to start dinner
