A bit frustrated I got my duct installed and sealed to the cowl with button head screws since I can’t find the original counter sink screws, can’t weld the repair cowl piece in place because I forgot the argon regulator and hose, and now I’m stuck on installing my dash til I figure out what the random red wire is, it’s a new harness and I terminated the wire for something just not sure anymore grrrr

Happy face, now I need to get the top layer fabbed up so I can get it all welded up to the cowl, new defroster duct and speedo cable supposed to be here Friday and my Transmission fluid here tomorrow. I bought 5 gallons of gas today as well

Well Belizean I got my 15 quarts of oil in finally, I hate being the last stop on UPS route, I also have 5 gallons of gas to put in the tank as well..... good day..... hmmm sure hope this Transmission doesn’t leak :0

That's what is great about jeeps, never draining, just adding.

Gotta love it, had some squealing noise last two days when I cranked my truck up that went away a minute or two after it started.... that didn’t last long the serpentine belt tensioner went bang this morning $18 pulley plus 1.5 hours of my time and I’m back on the road. I don’t know how non car people do it, that would have been a $120 tow $101 tensioner and about $100 in labor for a mechanic to fix and you would be down at least one day if not two...... ouch

Time to warm up a little and get started on the Jeep

I started drilling today.... shame to have to cut brand new sheet metal up

Heads up on the omix ada defroster duct it is not the same size as the windshield gasket

I would cut to gasket size, that’s what it looks like on pictures of cowls I have seen. Also check the length of the duct versus gasket holes, my duct is about 1/2 inch shorter than the gasket

Dang it I have run out of air in the air compressor and the welder I’m borrowing is using the power for the compressor and now I need to go make some money so here she sits til tomorrow
