I’m beginning to think I need to become good friends with someone who welds.

That sure would help in the long run, I have done a lot of welding on my frame, axles, body, bumpers, suspension and about to weld on my roll bar so there is a lot you can do with a welder

I had the Hobart 125 for awhile I wish I had stopped and found a 140 when I bought the 125 instead of being impatient

What’s this bracket?

I pulled all the pedals and didn’t document what this bracket next to the accelerator is.

Thanks, yeah I’m kicking myself because I’ve been meticulous about documenting the disassembly and I missed this one.

Bracket for vent / temp cables that rotate on that.

I finally won the battle of getting the rusty stripped stupid torx bolts out and the roll bar off.

Actually the body was so rusted I was able to yank the last two up. Does anyone following know if I can cut the forward rusty base plates off and replace them? Are there replacements available or would I have to have them manufactured?

Lots of pain and annoyance, but finally got the tub off. Feels like some real progress was made.

From what I can tell only one body mount looks bad and the passenger side rear bumper mount location. I should be able to get those repaired after the frame is blasted.

Would be cheaper to date a stripper.

I’ll go ahead and try that as my justification for abandoning my Jeep project.

I'm on another forum for Texas football and there is guy whose username is NeverMarryaStripper. He usually puts up some pretty good stories. LOL.

Now back to our regularly scheduled discussion on jeeps. Ultrunner looks like he has it going his way now.

Looking over the frame identifying lines, problem areas etc... I don’t know what this square plate with the four bolts sticking out on the drivers side just aft of mid-line is for. Any help?
