finally got to drive it today, and i love how it feels. You guys were right, it is beyond night and day, and I definitely think this is the best thing I've done to the jeep so far. it has great pick-up, it gets up and goes when I want it to, and chugs along down the road happily under part-throttle when I don't. It doesn't buck or surge, and it doesn't die when I stop, turn, or slow down, and once the engine is warm, it cranks with just a touch of the key. If anyone out there reads this and is on the fence, let me tell you - DO IT. I haven't even completed dialed in the choke, tuned the carb with the vacuum gauge, or rechecked the timing, and it's already 10x better than the BBD ever was. the stories are true, this carb is awesome on the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , and with a Nutter bypass, it's the best thing besides going to fuel injection.
I love it, and I have you folks to thank for the help.
