Air Filter Clearance

Hey guys, wondering if anybody could help me. When I shut my hood I can tell that the bolt to my air filter is touching the top of the hood. Does anybody have any ideas/suggestions on how I can get a little better clearance? thank you!

Can we have a picture of your air filter?? Apparently the hat box or the carb is not the one it came with?

If its a stock housing and all I would suspect worn or broken body mounts letting the body/ hood drop.

Not good if hitting abig bump.
