1984 CJ7 258 w/T176
I dont think those other holes are for a different tranny. I'm pretty sure the top two holes are the same on T-176 and T-5 bellhousings but the bottom two are different. You could bolt it up to the top two then drill and tap new bottom holes.
 
Looks like I will need a t5 bell housing.

You may be able to take it to a machine shop. If not Im sure you can find someone who will swap you for the T-176 bellhousing.
