I am stumped on how to figure out which replacement belts to buy for my ride. I have an 81 CJ7 with the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l inline 6 w/o AC. There are only two belts and the all the belt patterns for the 6 cylinder in the Jeep Parts list show a minimum of three belts. My jeep does not have A/C. It has one belt that goes around the fan and the alternator and another for power steering. The alternator belt is notched but the power steering belt is not. It has Bosch belts on it now but when I try to look them up on the Bosch site or at my local parts store they say they are not manufactured anymore. I have been looking on the NAPA and Autozone sites as well.
What I have come up with so far is that the alternator belt is a 10x1075mm and I can't figure out much from the number on the power steering belt. I am guessing I am going to end up pulling the belts and measuring them unless someone can point to a resource that actually tells me the right belts to use.
