Carbs what do you run and why?

im running a quadrajet on my 360 right now, but its going retarded so i was going to swap it over to a edelbrock carb, was thinking a 660cfm or something along thoes lines, its already got a edelbrock performer intake on it, and put a manual choke on it as well,

buddys FSJ wagoneer is running a 401 with a edelbrock and offroad he loves it,

I have a holley 670 trk avenger on my 360 . Canukcj5 have you thought about the holley trk avenger on your 360 .. I love it never had any issuse's with it on any hills out here in Wa state . here is a link to why I put on on my 360 .....Holley Performance Products 670 CFM Four Barrel Carburetor*0-90670 least that is my story and sticking to it lol

I had a mc2100. Liked it but when the jeep sat it took forever to get fuel back up to the carb. Got a Holley 2 barrel at a garage sale for $8 bought a rebuild kit and have that on now on my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l .

When I ran a carb, it was a MC 2150. The one with the altitude compensator on it. It always ran great. Never had an issue at it would maintain a good idle to even 13,000+ feet.

i love doing stupid things with my truck, really steep climbs and angles, big drops, stuff like that, a buddy of mine who is a engine builder nut job gave me a brand new edelbrock 600cfm carb for free, he had it on his 460 before he stroked it and put efi on it, turns out he got f.a.s.t efi for it but its restricting his motor because the one he got is only rated for 500HP, so hes getting the one thats rated for 1100hp and hes gonna sell me the other one cheap, so i only really need the carb for a while, till i get the efi setup for it,

Was a Holley 750 single pump vac sec. Traded for a Holley 4165 650 spreadbore mech. Sec. Dbl pump better mileage and better bottom end response
