Overdrive or not... still a smokin’ deal for the condition.
Except for new 100 years ago I only bought one Jeep that didn’t need and get a complete restoration.

Helped a buddy install a video surveillance system at couples home - his garage was larger than my house.... couple Mustangs ( 68 & 89), pickups (79, 16), old Camero, and this:

When I told him I liked that one best, he said "Ya want it??? I'm gonna sell it"

He's askin 4K.... I value my life so I passed..

Just did a week long road trip through several states and only caught sight of 2 CJs (and a MB in a museum). Didn't have time to stop and take any pics.

The first was a maroonish CJ7 parked at a junkyard off of Lousiana state highway 1 between Alexandria and Krotz Springs. It wasn't mixed in with the junk, so I'd like to think it was someone's personal ride.

The second was a black late CJ5 going down the beach highway in Panama City Beach in the other direction than what I was going.

Tons of YJ Wranglers were spotted as well.

The MB was almost hidden behind a F4F Wildcat at the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola.

And for the record, the Jeep wave thing doesn't work so well when you're driving the wife's Volvo crossover SUV.
