The main purpose for this post is that I have finally taken the jeep through the mud and got to play with it off-road. My problem is that of I'm going through water or it splashes up under the engine bay it will sputter and die. Sometimes start right back up seine have to let it sit.
Second problem: I'm assuming problem one has to do with the ignition system (have the dreaded prestolite). I've read and read and read till I can't anymore from jeep hammer to the Miscellaneous. I'm leaning towards the motorcraft swap. When I do this all I need is the motorcraft distributor and should I use the ford motorcraft ignition module or an aftermarket. And how do I go about wiring to avoid the first problem. Picks for y'all's enjoyment. Took a while to get out but no other way to spend my birthday

out of me. So now I'm looking into the msd 6 series, going to order on Wednesday (seemed much easier to wire in) my question, does anyone have the wiring diagram for the msd module and the motorcraft distributor. Ordering cap, rotor and new plug wires as well. trying to make this a one day smooth transition if theres anything else i need (connectors and such) or advice anything is much appreciated.
