Hi guys I'm about to install a SOA and I want to install a CV joints on my drive shafts. Where can I find CV driveshafts? Do any of you guys have advice?

Thank you:D

Tom Woods would be my 1st. choice, there are others here that have used other makers also.
You can also get one from the junk yard from the front of a 90's explorer or get the front shaft and yoke from the front of a xj
and have them shortened and rebalanced.
I'd check prices from your local driveshaft shop for both new and shortened.
I have a xj's in mine.

Ok thanks Old Dog:):).

I will check there's out!

I installed a Tom Woods in my 75 CJ and it is amazing. I gave them a call told them length and what I was looking for and had a custom made driveshaft in about a week.

Both ford explorer and XJ work, but if you have a choice grab the explorer its 2" diameter .120 wall and has a 2.5 stroke, a bit thicker then the xj.

I picked up a front explorer driveshaft for $20 at the boneyard. I added a few inches to make it 33.5” with 4.5 stroke

Ditto!

Woods are great to deal with. They know Jeeps. :D

Plus with a SOA you're going to need longer shafts.
