I put your numbers in for the crawl ratios. We're not trying to discount your ability , just covering the bases. Around here you can get a good used Dana 300 for $200.
I know you guys are being helpful. Which is why I asked. I appreciate it. I apologize if I seemed rude. That's a pretty good price. I'll definitely look around for some Dana 300 's.
Good choice on gears.
We have no way of knowing your background. So many folks what to do alot of things to their rides, and have no clue of what's really involved.
I grew-up in the hotrod world. Just look at the history of Hot Rod City and Wilcap in Torrance, Ca. I work'd there and went to scool with the owners kids. It was a great learning experience.
Respectfully,
LG
Oh, yes. I know you guys don't know my background. And like I just said to Pete, I apologize if I seemed rude. I wish I grew up with hot rods. My dad had a YJ. That's all I grew up messing with. Taught myself how to weld and work on my own Jeeps. Then eventually went to college for an associates degree in 'Automotive high performance' in which I actually got to build engines, do all the machine work on them, built complete tube chassis. Dyno'd engines and cars. I enjoyed it.
