Hey guys,
Getting close to finishing up the rebuild. Question I have for you all. The picture attached is a spacer of some sorts that comes with the kit. I believe it has to do with the intermediate shaft. Problem is I have no idea where it goes. I didn't remove one like it during the rebuild. Kit comes with a new shaft, needle bearings, and the spacers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not from a Dana 300 , from a D18.
Not part of intermediate shaft kit.
Misplaced part.

I would tend to agree with Gargoyle, not sure it fits a T-18 but there wasn't one like you pictured in my Dana 300 . It looks similar to the thrust washers on the ends of the center idler shaft though, I can see where it could confuse someone .

Quick second thought. You say theres 2 of them, so I'm wondering if they are Novaks version of the thrust washer. Are they about 1/16" thick and do the 2 tangs kinda bend inwards? Did the kit include 2 thrust washers like the ones you took out?

Hey guys, Appreciate the response. Please see attached pic. These are the parts that I believe are associated with the intermediate shaft. You can see the odd looking spacer, 2 thrust washers in the middle, and three spacers. There is only one of the odd looking spacer.

Another odd find was that one of the existing spacers that was pulled from the Transfer Case around the intermediate shaft was about 1/4" long. The three spacers included with the kit are all the same size. Weird.

Thanks again for the help.

The keyed washer comes with all 18, 20 and 300 Transfer Case rebuild kits (small parts). The keyed washer goes between the case and the output shaft on the 18 Transfer Case . You do not need this part for your 300 rebuild

Part # A990,
Output Shaft - High Gear - Washer - Snap Ring

The odd sized intermediate roller spacer from the intermediate shaft goes in the middle, with a row of rollers on each side;the thinner ones go on the ouside of the rollers, up against the thrust washers.
