Drive-shaft question

Will the front drive-shaft from a 93 Cherokee work for the rear drive-shaft on a CJ5 with a Dana 300 ??

Just a guess, but I'd say no. I think it would be too long.

Drive shaft lengths are very important. Measure what the compressed and extended length needs to be. Then you can measure the '93 Cherokee drive shaft. I would be very surprised if it turned out to be just right. Drive shafts dont make very good bump stops.
After you have all your measurements call up Tom Woods Custom Drive shafts.

How do you get those measurements??

You want to measure from the center of the U Joint to center of U Joint like this:

You need the maximum extended length. Do this by jacking the tires off the ground, letting the suspension droop. Then take the above measurement.
Next you need the drive shaft length when the suspension is completely compressed. It is not so easy to completely compress your suspension to take this measurement. It may take a little guesstimation.
