Hey guys, been a little while since I've posted, hunting season is here so that takes a lot of my time  I'm not sure if any of you ran into the same problem but while converting my clutch to hydraulic I found that my headers are too close to my bell housing to mount my slave cylinder  so I have two questions 1) has anyone found a solution to get around this without replacing the headers, and 2) if not does anyone have a set of stock manifolds for a AMC 304 that has the exhaust dump in the middle? I don't have much more left to do on the jeep before its drivable but this is holding me up something fierce.

if you don't hear from anyone on here, check ebay..there is a guy in Maine,Rhode Island or somewhere in that general area that I have bought a few cj parts from on ebay.I think he parts out a good many..another option might be the shorty headers but I like manifolds better myself

Haha funny you should mention that, he had a set on eBay but sold before I could get ahold of them, I contacted him and he is out of town till the 22nd. And for anyone interested he has started a website CJ5 .com with a bunch of stuff

I assume you are using a "Push" type Slave cylinder mounted to the Bell Housing?
They also make "Pull" slaves that mount off your Transmission to the rear of the clutch fork.........Speedway has a few so does Jegs & Summit. ...........same principle just from the opposite side!

:D:D:D:D

Thanks Tarry, I wish I had known about that before I bought this one. I guess if all else fails ill try that route :notworthy:
