Finally broke my AMC 20 Two Piece Axle

All the AMC20 , 1 piece Moser's I install'd were USA mark'd.
Have no other experience with other Moser products.

OP-I suggest you also order a spare set of seals and bearing to have on hand.

Hey Lumpy, why do you recommend this since the parts/bearings I'm installing are new. :chug:

Someday down the road you may need'em.
Nice to have on hand and NOT wait for an order to come in--

Moser's are USA made.
Superior wasn't------

Nope

Superiors were made by Foote axle in California....at least the two sets I have are.

"Since 1934, Foote Axle & Forge LLC, has been manufacturing and distributing the Highest Quality axle shafts, input / output shafts and gears in the USA. We are a 100% in-house manufacturer. We forge, CNC machine, heat treat, precision grind and spline right here in our Los Angeles facility."

Need extra bearings & seals because set 9 & 10 bearings are weak & small compared to the OE Tapered 2 piece Timken`s. Used to replace all the time no matter who`s axles they were on. Always said nice axles crappy bearings.
The best thing going was Warns full float kit. Or a pair of custom axles from Dutchman using regular bearings both made in Oregon. Or FS Dana 60 cut down.

Now just waiting for the rants & raves.

Do you know if they roll their splines or cut them?

Just curious. :D

Roll or hobb (cut). They do both.
