Front Hub 4131 Seal

I've looked at enough threads to get a headache. I'm installing a National (Federal Mogul) 4131 seal in my front hub. I can't figure out which way it goes. Here's a cool cross section from the Federal website. Forget about the non-cross hatched part, since the metal housing seems to change over the years.

The cross hatched section is what my seal looks like, two surfaces facing one direction, one in the opposite. I'm inclined to install it with the two surfaces facing the same direction towards the bearing, since that would give you two surfaces to keep grease in.

Dang I just installed the exact seals in my front hubs, sure hope I got it right!!
