Front seal leak????

So I've got some fluid leakage on the bottom of the skid plate and traced it down to the front shaft coming out of the Transfer Case as you can see I the pic. I needs one advice since I haven't approached this one yet.
1. How critical us this leak? I drive it pretty regular and really need it this week to take hunting and driving around town and won't have time to address it due to holidays.

2. How hard is the fix and what else should I look for whilst I'm down there.

Is the leak coming from the bolt or behind the plate? If just the bolt then pull it, slather on some gasket sealer and reinstall. (If more than one bolt pull and reinstall one at a time.) It is not uncommon for bolts that go through a case to leak if not sealed even though a gasket seals the components being bolted together.

Its not to difficult to repair, wether its bolts or the yoke leaking just keep the Transfer Case topped off and fix it when your ready

Cool thanks guys. I think it's coming from behind the plate. Hopefully it won't get much worse driving it around the next week.

If you are mainly using 2WD and front lockouts that shaft won't be turning and would minimize the leakage.

Just keep the transferase full.
