Build Thread Got my jeep today!!!!
Not sure if I've already said this, but the dash looks pretty cool. Good idea.

rr41mag - Your CJ is really looking great. I can't believe how fast you've put it together (it's making the rest of us look bad ).

Great job, can't wait to see the finished product - Bill :chug:

Thanks abunch yall I appreciate it. I want to turn it around in the tent so I cranked it up drove out to the street and turned around. I had no brakes and when I almost got back down the driveway the z bar popped off one of the ball mounts. ?????

After my little test drive down the drive way I got those problems fixed. I need my windshield frame bad, gonna gocheck on it again today. Thanks everyone for your help! Here are a few before and after pictures.

Everything came together yesterday since I got everything electrical working. With the exception of the gas gauge, it reads full with 6 gallons of gas. I'll figure that out in time. Getting ready to shoot the next coat of silver then clear. When you are working on the dash wiring run a ground back to the body. Stuff works better with a ground.

Gonna modify the roll cage. I really want it to be closer to the wind sheild.

Got started on the roll cage today. I'm gonna mount it at the base of the wind shield. I worked on the brakets tonight.

A picture of the new widsheild that I waited two weeks for. Can't get much done when the sun goes down so quick.

I got the front loop in before it got too cool outside. I hope to finish it up tomorrow. Then I want to take the winch off and cut a piece of diamond plate to cover the frame. Then it's on to paint. Another coat of silver then many coats of clear.

I got blessed with a beautiful day today and got quite a bit accomplished. I had to install the 35"s just for gee wizz. Tomorrow test drive!!!!!

Still finding places to put some of the leftover diamond plate.

That Jeep is looking pretty good! How big are your flares? I've been looking at the 4" flares for mine..

Great build!

Great Build man! :chug:

Shot the clear on yesterday and am starting to put stuff back on. I'll have pictures later.

Looks freaking good. Awesome paint job!

Thank You very much. The flames didn't turn out like I wanted. hmmmmmm....Just wondering if I should keep trying?

I took her for the test drive Saturday, Just so happens it was my birthday:). Needless to say I was very pleased. All that I could find wrong was the shifter hole needs to be cut out a little more. It kept popping out of second. I have the 2100 ready to go on but the original carter runs so good right now.
