I started the MC2100 install and i'm running into linkage issuse. and need some brain storming, if anybody have pics of the linkage, Down pull or what ever you did. i have a huge brake booster HUGE!!!!!!!! my new air intake has some kinks what do you guys think? thanks for the 2 cents. BTW everything is dry fitted.

Do you have the stock linkage still? I made a small arm that I used to pull the linkage down. I'll be in the shop tomorrow and hopefully I'll remember and post some pics of it..

NO linkage never had it, no carb when i got the jeep. so i got the weber and intake at a swap meet i did have the throttle cable the bracket im using was a box of parts i found at the flee market labeled "Jeep :dung:" so nothing works on the MC

Up try to get some pics tomorrow of my set up. It was on a 84 Cj.

did it not come with all the proper linkages..the only thing i heard is the linkage hits unless you have that thick felt spacer-gasket

I got the same kit about 2 weeks ago and it came with everything it need. The linkage adapter was already installed on the carb. Below are pics of how mine came . All he aded was a little (T) bracket adapter to the carb. I couldn't see how this would get in the way of even a HUGE brake booster

I thought I had some pics of the linkage I came up with but to teel the truth it is nothing to brag about. Thanks for the reminder that this was another "functional" system that needs some "polish".:D

Heres mine.
First pic is throttle closed,
second is throttle open
Theird is the bracket that I had. Its from a later CJ.

the nut that the bar attaches to is anther ball, I think i got it from either 2100 carb or the stock carb. one of the 2 had a screw in style ball.

I just popped a V8 throttle cable from an 80 CJ7 with V8 on my MC2100 swap. No linkage required. Goes straight to ball on the carb.
