Vehicle(s)
1979 Jeep CJ7 TH400 Automatic 258 I6 Quadratrac Amc 20 rear & Dana 30 front, 32 x 11.5 x 15 tires. Currently a Complete Custom Rebuild in progress.

Also I own a 2001 Jeep Cherokee, White, all stock with 4.0L. automatic, and police package. Best part of that is it came with leather seats! This package also has the NP242 Transfer Case, 8.25 rear end, and trailer towing package.
What color are the seats and interior. If black, then I would go black or white. But black would be my personal choice. I would only go with tan if it matched the interior. Good luck.

I'm fond of factory coloring, but that's me.

Do you run topless or soft top in the summer? If so, I'd prefer black in the winter.

If you're running a hard top in all seasons, I agree with you: White to reflect some sunshine.

Seats are Black, rest of the interior blue. Rod

Don't have a soft top yet. Thinking about A/C since it will be a DD. With A/C I'd leave the hard top on, without it has to come off.

PS: The current hard top is tan, don't know if that is original or not. Rod

I vote for white. I like it the best.

For me, white is also best...
Just dug out a press picture I bought some time ago:

That's the same one. And you thought I actually drew it! Rod

Was white for a hard top a factory option? I've only ever seen Brown/Tan and Black oem. I know I had a white soft top on my 76 CJ5 back in the day. Rod

Thanks for the info. Now I'll have to do some research for the difference between brown and tan. Always thought there was just tan. Rod

That is nice! :D Wonder what shade of blue that is? Rod

I'd show you that same Jeep (the Renegade ) with a white hardtop in a real pic but this site won't allow me to post pics from other sites. But I prefer the white too.... so I bought it!
