How do I? I have a 1969 CJ-5 that the ignition switch keeps rotating in the dash. How do I fix that?

The ignition bazel has a slot. The ignition switch has a small tab that slides into the bazel slot, Everything is held tight and in place by a compressed spring. The spring could be worn which causes the bezel and switch to move.
Hold the bezel and compress the spring by pushing the switch towards the dash, while pushing it in turn left to slide the tab out of the bezel slot. You could try to add a couple washers to help the spring hold tight. Hope this helps.
Holy :dung:. It's @Posi So long...

I decided to put a push button start in the system. Any recommendations?

Yes, but I am looking for a simple solution, no fobs, noe remote start, etc. Just a hard wire to the starter. Seems to me of I just ran the starter wire from the ignition switch through the push button to the starter and the same for the ground, I should be good to go??

Exactly, just make sure it's not a switch but a push button that is normally open and when pressed automatically returns to the open state.
Sorry if I misunderstood your initial post.
