I think theres alot of guys that cheat on there Jeeps with other Jeeps. Peer outta the corner of their eye and sneak a peak at another. Some guys outright drool right in front their respected other. Its when you get down to running your hands along the body lines and ultimately put your name on the title that conversion happens.

Well I haven't cracked yet, in fact, I may be buying another CJ7 now... found one nearby with AMC 304 , 3 speed, pretty complete and runs for 500 clams.. I'll probably flip this one after I clean it up and add a few missing pieces.. meeting another guy this weekend and picking up a hood, grill, a whole new tub side, roll bar and a complete hard top with doors for AMC 150 ! Now I can replace the hood on my 7 finally!

It was nice, you could tell it was an older restoration but still nice. Had a v8 350 badge on it and was auto.

Ill admit this to you guys. My wife bought an 04 Rubicon back in April and there has been several times the thought has crossed my mind to sell both my jeeps and buy one of them. I won't do it though all it takes to get me back on track is to get my cj out of the garage and drive it around the block.

Well all my Cj parts arent exactly flying off the shelves so Im short right now of what it would take me to get that truck. Not to mention fly out there and bring it back. Meanwhile I ran across a CJ7 that has piqued my interest. May be taking a look at it tomorrow. :dunno:

I guess you can get excited if that pile o parts has the potential to make a whole jeep. Do you sit in the garage holding a steering wheel in one hand, shift knob in the other and go vrooooom vrooooom . You need to take a ride down this way Pete we'll find you a nice mostly rust free southern jeep. I see em all the time with little rust.
