MC2150 choke question

So when I ordered the new 2150 I decided to flip the (coil/spring) in my Carter choke and use it. I mounted it to the new 2150 but not sure how to set it. I turned the choke ccw just till it moved the plate on top of the carb and tightened it down.
What is the proper way to install that choke as far as tension goes?
